Before your samples are shipped, you will need to complete the next-generation sequencing (NGS) order form and return it to your sales contact.

Purified genomic DNA (gDNA) is the preferred sample type for FAST-WES plus+.

Blood, saliva, swabs, cell pellets, tissue, and FFPE samples are also accepted.*

*An additional DNA extraction fee applies to these sample types, and extraction adds approximately 2 business days to the turnaround time.

FAST-WES plus+ is designed for human samples only. For other species, please contact your sales representative or inquiry@psomagen.com to explore our other whole exome sequencing options.

If your sample does not pass QC, we will send you the QC report and discuss next steps with you. Please confirm how you would like to proceed within 1 month.

Replacement samples submitted within 2 months will be processed at the original price, with one complimentary QC check. Replacement samples are processed as separate orders, and turnaround time begins once they pass QC.

By default, results are released as samples pass QC, so passing samples reach you as soon as they are ready. If you need all samples delivered together (for example a trio or tumor-normal pair), ask for single-batch delivery, which follows the timeline of the last sample.

Twist Exome 2.0 is the default. Choose Twist Core if you need continuity with earlier Core data. Core is offered with RefSeq and mitochondrial (MT) content, +$5 per sample on top of the Twist Exome 2.0 price.

We deliver the raw data output you order, in Gb. The estimated mean target depth (for example ~80X at 6 Gb) is a reference value; actual depth varies with sample quality and capture performance.

Choose your data output based on the estimated sequencing depth:

• 3 Gb → ~40× coverage
• 6 Gb → ~80× coverage
• 9 Gb → ~120× coverage
• 12 Gb → ~160× coverage

If your analysis requires a specific minimum coverage depth, please contact your sales representative to determine the most suitable option.

Yes. Every order includes raw data (FASTQ) and a sequencing QC report.

The download link is active for 2 weeks, and data is deleted 30 days after delivery. Please download your files promptly and check that they are complete.

Yes. Basic bioinformatics analysis using the BWA-GATK pipeline is available for $10 per sample. Adding analysis may affect turnaround time, which your sales representative will confirm in your quote. Custom analysis is quoted separately.

Use the reference depth as a guide: 3 Gb for ~40X, 6 Gb for ~80X, 9 Gb for ~120X and 12 Gb for ~160X. If you need a specific minimum depth for your analysis, tell your sales representative and we will suggest a tier.

Yes. Start from the nearest lower tier and add $5 per additional Gb.
